These Terms of Service govern your use of Sound Mind K9 LLC's services and website. By booking a service or completing our intake form, you agree to these terms.

Services

Sound Mind K9 LLC ("SMK9") provides professional dog training, behavior modification, boarding, and daycare services in Chicago, IL. All services are subject to availability and SMK9's discretion based on safety assessments.

Client Responsibilities

Provide accurate and complete information on the intake form
Ensure your dog's vaccinations are current as required
Disclose any known behavioral issues, medical conditions, or medications
Follow through with training protocols at home as instructed
Provide sufficient food and any required medications for boarding stays

SMS & WhatsApp Communication Terms

By providing your mobile phone number and checking the consent box on our intake form, you agree to receive text messages (SMS and/or WhatsApp) from Sound Mind K9 LLC, including:

Booking confirmations and appointment reminders
Updates during your dog's boarding or daycare stay
Service notifications and reminders

Message frequency varies. Messages are sent based on your booking activity.

Message and data rates may apply per your carrier plan.

To opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive a confirmation, and no further messages will be sent.

Consent to receive SMS/WhatsApp messages is not a condition of purchasing any service.

Payments & Cancellations

Deposits are required to hold boarding reservations and are non-refundable within 48 hours of the start date
Training packages must be used within 12 months of purchase
Cancellations with more than 48 hours notice will receive a full credit
Payments are processed securely via Stripe

Liability

SMK9 exercises reasonable care in the supervision of dogs in our care. However, SMK9 is not liable for:

Injury resulting from undisclosed behavioral issues or medical conditions
Minor injuries (nicks, scratches) that may occur during group play
Damage caused by a dog's behavior that the owner failed to disclose

Training Outcomes

SMK9 makes no guarantee of specific behavioral outcomes. The effectiveness of training depends substantially on consistent follow-through by the owner. We will provide professional guidance and tools; success requires partnership.

By using SMK9's services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
